We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at The S/L/A/M Collaborative. This role involves leading and managing the on-site construction team, coordinating owner/facility operations, and monitoring project progress.

Job Description:

This role requires strong leadership and management skills to oversee the construction process, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
  • Coordinate owner/facility operations during construction.
  • Monitor and report on schedule progress and projections.
  • Attend and participate in coordination and scoping meetings.
  • Mange all subcontractor safety orientations, onboarding, JHA's, and monitor compliance.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractor installations, workflow, and sequencing.
  • Drive field team to achieve targeted milestones and completion dates with quality workmanship.
  • Proactively identify and solve potential problems.
  • Monitor, correct, and report on quality control issues.
  • Identify and proactively report material and scheduling projections throughout the construction process.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience in general trades and on-site construction supervision.
  • Proficiency in at least 3 trade skills preferred.

Benefits:

  • $90,000 - $120,000 per year salary.
