At Beam Suntory, we're seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team as a Visitor Centre Assistant at the Laphroaig Brand Home.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our global business, promoting one of the most unique whisky brands to visitors and industry colleagues from around the world.

As a Visitor Centre Assistant, you'll have the chance to work across various areas of the visitor centre, including hosting groups, working in the retail shop and tasting bar, and delivering high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities will include:

• Learning the history and heritage of the distillery and communicating this to visitors.
• Leading distillery tours and on/offsite tastings.
• Working across all areas of the visitor centre.
• Hosting all levels of tours of the distillery.
• Opening and closing premises.
• Assisting with stock takes and counts.
• Daily banking and reconciliation.
• Administrative duties, including responding to customer inquiries and processing sales orders.
• Working closely with the Visitor Centre Manager to define annual goals and objectives.

Key Skills and Competencies

We're looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and good listening and questioning skills. You'll also need to have a strong drive and desire to succeed, with high levels of energy, focus, and ambition.
