About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hepatology Consultant to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Gastroenterology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with liver and bile duct disorders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical opinion on a range of problems relating to Hepatology.
  • Take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients to the highest clinical standard.
  • Organise and affect high-quality outpatient Hepatology services.
  • Apply research outcomes to clinical problems.
  • Contribute to the teaching of medical students, trainee advanced care practitioners, specialist nurses, and participate in weekly postgraduate meetings as well as audit, governance, morbidity, and mortality meetings.
