We are a long-established healthcare provider in North Manchester, serving a diverse population of 7500 patients. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to work in our busy practice, based at Newton Heath Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our patients and staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage patient records, including updating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process prescriptions and medication requests, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Coordinate appointments and bookings, ensuring efficient use of clinic time.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a high level of organization.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
