We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BESS Optimization Manager to join our Energy Sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic candidate to join a fast-growing renewable energy business as we head into the next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities- Maximise the potential revenue from Innova's pipeline of BESS projects through tendering, contract negotiation, and project coordination.
- Work with the commercial, finance, engineering, and construction teams to manage the interfaces between BESS projects.
- Represent Innova in industry meetings and conferences, and feed into consultations and influence policy.
- At least 2-3 years experience in a commercial role with significant exposure to the revenue optimisation of BESS facilities in the UK.
- A track record of negotiating and agreeing complex energy contracts.
- A thorough knowledge of the UK electricity market, particularly the balancing and short-term trading markets.
- Good commercial acumen and the ability to lead and challenge during commercial discussion and debate.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-starting.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a business area.
