This is an exciting opportunity to join Owen Daniels Consultancy as a Strategic Buyer Manager. The role involves managing the purchasing process for our organisation, ensuring that we get the best value for money and that our suppliers meet our quality standards.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in a procurement position, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for purchasing goods and services from external suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements, and maintaining accurate records of purchases.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the purchasing process for the organisation, ensuring that we get the best value for money and that our suppliers meet our quality standards.

  2. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  3. Maintain accurate records of purchases, including supplier information, prices, and delivery dates.

Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a procurement position, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
