Electrical Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:

This role involves providing expert electrical engineering services to industrial clients in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with PLC fault-finding.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining control panels and automated production line equipment, as well as conducting inspections, testing, and reporting of electrical systems.

The company offers a competitive salary package, including £55-70k OTE, 25 days holiday, training, and access to a company vehicle for site work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service and maintenance of control panels and automated production line equipment.
  2. Previous PLC code interrogation experience with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Siemens PLCs.
  3. Conduct inspections, testing, and reporting of electrical systems.
  4. Out-of-hours roster for remote support.

Requirements:

  • HNC/D in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (or related subject).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a service engineering role or similar.
  • Full UK driving licence - essential.
