The Wayman Learning Trust is seeking an experienced SEN Coordinator to lead the Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in one of its outstanding schools in Croydon. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures, excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience working with students with diverse special educational needs.

Job Description:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the school's SEN policy and provision.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to deliver high-quality SEN services.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular reports to parents and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines related to SEN.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Special Educational Needs or related field.
  • Previous experience as an SEN Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs.
