Job Opportunity: Trainee Assistant Merchandiser

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Assistant Merchandiser. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Merchandising and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising orders and managing them into the business by liaising with our suppliers and vendors.
  • Assisting with data entry and taking responsibility for data input and producing reports to enable the analysis of sales and stock data.
  • Investigating data inaccuracies and problem-solving where issues arise.
  • Providing support to the Merchandiser and other teams as required.
  • Working closely with the Buying, Technology, Marketing, and Creative teams to drive business growth and success.

Requirements

  • Good computer skills, with confidence in Excel and excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, with the ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple demands and competing priorities successfully.
  • Reliability, initiative, and a flexible attitude to changing priorities are key qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate.
  • Enthusiasm, self-confidence, and self-motivation, as well as commitment and a willingness to learn and remain professional at all times.
