Job Title: Functional Skills Maths and English Lecturer – Apps and Work Based Learning

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Skills Maths and English Lecturer to join our team. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students, developing and implementing schemes of work, and providing pastoral support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2 to students
  • Develop and implement schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment plans
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students
  • Participate in interviewing, enrolment, and induction of students
  • Use student data to inform teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Teaching Qualification (DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent)
  • Subject qualification in Maths and English
  • Experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths and English
  • Ability to work at our campuses and employers' work settings across the Midlands
