Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location:

Paying up to £45,000 + 15% bonus

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to oversee their financial management processes. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a commercial environment and will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. This role demands a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of commercial finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key financial performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and present findings to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing reliable financial projections.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.



Qualifications:

  • Full professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
