Key Responsibilities:- Advocate and represent clients in Employment Tribunals, committees, and panels, providing expert legal advice and guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest employment law legislation and case law, ensuring that clients receive the best possible advice and representation.
- Work closely with the Commercial and Governance Team to provide support and assistance, as required.
- Provide training and guidance to clients and colleagues on employment law matters.
- Identify and mitigate high-risk cases, working closely with the Legal Service Team Manager to ensure effective case management.
- Qualified Solicitor/Barrister/FCILEx with a minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context.
- Proven ability to advise on complex and sensitive legal issues in a constructive and positive way.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to grasp and assimilate new information quickly, working under pressure to deadlines.
- Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of equalities and diversity issues.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages or equivalent.
