Job Title: Commercial Laundry/Catering Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Laundry/Catering Service Engineer to join our team at SOUTH WEST RECRUITMENT. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial laundry and catering equipment for a long-established company in Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair commercial laundry and catering equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, using technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial laundry and catering equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial laundry and catering equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
