Logistics Done Differently

At XPO, we're looking for skilled professionals to join our team as Loading Bay Operatives on the British Gypsum contract in Kirkby Thore. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading of goods onto trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load Management: Ensure loads are safely secured on trailers, with full training provided to ensure compliance with site safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with customers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, providing excellent service and support.
  • Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Pay: Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £12.01, with opportunities for overtime and additional pay for working between 18:00-06:00.

  • Flexible Working: Work a rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday, with the option to extend shifts with overtime.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but not essential.
