About the Role

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Audiologist Assistant to join their multi-disciplinary team. As an Audiologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth running of the audiology service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a hearing aid repair service, including repairing and maintaining hearing aids.
  • Carry out telephone follow-up appointments with adult hearing aid users.
  • Assist in paediatric hearing assessment clinics.
  • Assist in adult balance function testing and be responsible for stock monitoring including management of earmoulds.

About the Team

The Audiology Service is based at The Countess of Chester Hospital and is delivered by a multi-skilled team of Scientists, Audiologists, Assistant Audiologists, and Administrators. We are committed to providing excellent patient care and are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Requirements

  • English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Audiology Practitioner Assistant Certificate Course (or a willingness to undertake this).
  • BSA certificate in audiometry and tympanometry (or a willingness to undertake this).
