As a Global Oncology HEOR Director, you will play a critical role in developing and executing a worldwide health economic and outcomes research strategy to support our oncology products. Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive HEOR strategy to support our oncology products, including the design and execution of studies, data analysis, and dissemination of results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including market access, clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, and biostatistics, to ensure alignment and integration of HEOR evidence generation plans.
  • Represent HEOR at cross-functional team meetings and ensure compliance with BMS SOPs and guidance in HEOR study conduct.
  • Maintain and develop strong partnerships with external key opinion leaders in clinical, health economics, and outcomes research.
  • Manage prospective observational studies/patient registries as the Scientific Lead, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • An advanced degree (PhD/MD/PharmD/MS/MPH) in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Econometrics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in the biopharmaceutical industry or with a company that provides services to the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in executing an HEOR book of work and working in a matrix organization to support worldwide value access for a medicine is required.
  • An exemplary record of HEOR deliverables and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Experience managing patient registries or prospective observational studies is preferred.
  • Experience in supporting regulatory submissions is preferred.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to distill complex issues for senior internal and external stakeholders and scientific and non-scientific audiences alike.
