SEN Teaching and Learning Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our school community. As a Senior Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing academic and emotional support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with SEN and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive practice. You will be expected to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide academic and emotional support to students with SEMH needs
- To work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEN
- To communicate effectively and empathetically with students, parents and colleagues
