Electrical Supervisor Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising junior and senior electricians, ensuring day-to-day site compliance with relevant industry standards and legislation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including COSHH, fire regulations, and facilities management
* Conduct electrical installation, testing, and commissioning as required
* Liaise with the Fleet Department and Production Managers to ensure electrical services are maintained to a safe and regulatory compliant standard
* Develop and implement an electrical testing regime to ensure units meet British Standards and HSE requirements
* Plan and coordinate electrical resource requirements, including labour and materials
* Adopt best practice asset planning and lean principles to achieve reduced lead times and continuous improvement

**Requirements:**

* Fully qualified 17th/18th Edition (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance, with commercial kitchens and modular buildings experience advantageous
* Good knowledge of health and safety requirements relating to the sector
* C&G 2391 or 2394/5 testing and inspection or equivalent
* Full UK driving licence
* At least 3 years supervisory experience, ideally with a nationally accredited certificate or diploma in supervisory management
