About the Opportunity

MCG Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic team in Canterbury.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and dedicated physician who values a supportive and collaborative environment with minimal home visits and opportunities for professional growth.

You will have the chance to work with a well-established practice serving a patient list of 10,000 and committed to delivering high-quality care with a focus on continuity and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Sessions: 6 per week, consisting of 15 patients per session, a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations.
  • Saturday Clinics: Participation in a rolling rota for pre-booked Saturday clinics (approximately 1 in 5/6), which may be conducted remotely or on-site.
  • On-Call Duties: Shared on-call responsibilities.
  • Home Visits: Very rare, as we have a dedicated visiting team to support.
Requirements
  • Experience with EMIS Web is desirable.
  • GP surgery experience: 1 year (required).
  • GMC registration (required).
  • United Kingdom work authorisation (required).
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Canterbury, Kent (required).

We offer a competitive salary of £63,000 per annum, based on a 6-session contract. This includes an estimated annual salary of £10500 per session, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
