Exceptional Opportunity for an In-House IP Lawyer

Hays Legal is exclusively instructed to find an in-house IP & commercial lawyer to join a high-profile Yorkshire-based organisation. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters, negotiating, drafting, and preparing legal documentation for strategic initiatives, commercialisation of IP, and industry engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and draft a range of legal matters relating to IP and commercial relationships.
  • Provide legal advice and support to ensure effective and timely conclusion of contracts with key commercial partners.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders on legal matters related to multi-million institutional-level research programmes.
  • Input to resolve commercial disputes and potential conflicts of interest arising from the organisation's activities.
  • Advising on existing and new legislation impacting the organisation's work.
  • Provide advice to internal committees as appropriate.
