Job Summary

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team in London. As an Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of our production server applications, performing server administration tasks, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous operation of production server applications
  • Perform server administration tasks and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Manage and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Manage non-production trading data, services, and servers
  • Oversee and optimize build and release cycles for trading applications
  • Understand and manage networking environment to optimize performance
  • Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and efficiency
  • Infrastructure automation via tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, etc.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operations or similar roles
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS strongly preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Linux systems administration
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
  • Familiarity with build and release processes, preferably in a trading environment
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Ability to script in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-frequency trading or financial services industry
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience running any blockchain node(s)
  • Understanding of security best practices in infrastructure management
  • Experience with Github Actions
  • Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
  • Solid understanding of modern software development practices, like CI/CD, service instrumentation, and multi-site software systems
