Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Surveyor

Job Summary:

Construction Testing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Surveyor to join our team. As an Engineer Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct inspections of mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER, PSSR, COSHH, and PUWER regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company procedures and policies related to ISO 17020 and UKAS accreditation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss inspection findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical engineering to ensure continued professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in an associated mechanical engineering discipline.
  • HND/HNC/Degree level in a mechanical engineering subject (desirable).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on relevant equipment.
  • Competent in at least 1 discipline (e.g. LOLER, PSSR, COSHH).
  • Full driving license.
  • IPAF license (desired – although training can be given).
  • Proficient with mobile tablet technology.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and use own initiative.
