Job Overview

Airport Retail Enterprises UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting in all areas of food preparation and service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the quality, quantity, and presentation of food meets company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas and ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous kitchen, food preparation, and service experience (airport setting helpful but not essential).
  • The ability to identify and address potential health, safety, and hygiene concerns, escalating where necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with team members.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • The ability to manage stock, reducing waste, and maximising revenue.
