About the Role


We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Networks Field Engineering team in Newmarket, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing power and cooling systems within our exchange buildings, radio sites, rooftops, and outdoor locations.



Salary and Benefits


The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including 25 days annual leave, flexible working hours, and access to training and development opportunities.



Job Description


The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of power and cooling systems. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Required Skills and Qualifications


To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:



  • Electrical competency City & Guilds 2360 parts 1+2 or equivalent NVQ
  • BTEC Electrical Engineering Level 3/HNC/HND/MOET Level 3/ET Level 3
  • 18th Edition Regs
  • Inspection, Testing and Verification (C&G 2392-10)


Preferred Experience and Qualifications


Whilst not essential, it would be desirable for the successful candidate to have experience with Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), F-GAS category 1, and Air Conditioning Split systems. Additionally, coaching/mentoring/supervisory experience would be beneficial.
