About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering their love for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Student Progress: Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and regular updates to parents.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to design and deliver innovative teaching strategies, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching English in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English curriculum and ability to tailor lessons accordingly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
What We Offer

Competitive salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
