Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area, and providing excellent patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing patient records.
- Ensure the reception area is well-organized and maintained, including managing supplies and equipment.
- Provide excellent patient care, including greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements
- Good general education with good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Previous experience working with computers and administrative software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
