About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama Educator to join our team at an exceptional school in Brent. As a Drama Educator, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students through the power of drama, helping them develop essential skills such as creativity, confidence, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons to students in line with the national curriculum.
  • Nurture students' creativity and help them develop their acting skills.
  • Facilitate and oversee drama workshops and productions.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create cohesive and interdisciplinary lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching drama at the primary or secondary level.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong ability to inspire and engage students through creative teaching strategies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for drama and a genuine interest in promoting the performing arts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
