Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Healthcare Administrator to join our team at Dr Kumar, Dr Taunk & Dr Kasliwal Brace Street Health Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has strong administrative skills.

About the Role

This role will involve providing administrative support to our clinical team, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reception Duties:
    • To ensure that patients and visitors are greeted professionally and courteously.
    • To deal with queries effectively and efficiently in line with practice procedures.
    • To be responsible for the appointment diary and appointments system.
  • Administration:
    • To undertake general filing in a timely and accurate manner.
    • To undertake photocopying/scanning in a timely and accurate manner.
    • To liaise with other agencies such as the ambulance service, hospital clinics, and community services.
  • Computer/IT:
    • To utilise medical software systems to enable the effective handling of patients and practice information.
    • To input data accurately onto patient records and software systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good IT skills.
  • Clear, polite telephone manner.
  • Time Management and the ability to work to deadlines.
Person Specification

The following qualifications and experience would be desirable:

  • GCSE English C or above.
  • Mathematics C or above.
  • Experience of working with the general public.
Salary

The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
