Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Run the night audit and balance the day's accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Preparation for the Next Day: Prepare the hotel for the following day, including tasks such as restocking, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Manage hotel room inventory, checking guests in and out, and ensuring accurate room assignments.
  • Food and Beverage Operations: Operate Food & Beverage outlets, including preparing food, cleaning, and restocking.
  • Accounting and Billing: Manage all bills and payments correctly, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Support: Support other crew members and follow direction from crew leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Brand Promotion: Promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
Requirements
  • High Energy and Proactivity: Demonstrate high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude, with a strong ability to multitask and balance hard work with great service.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in English (and other languages a plus).
  • Service Industry Experience: Have experience within the service industry, with knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros.
  • Food Safety and Licensing Knowledge: Possess knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws, with personal experience of travel and the travel industry.
