We are excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Prison Primary Nurse to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd.

Salary:

£1200 per week (assignment rate), approximately £12 per hour

About the Role:

This is a full-time, 3-month locum contract position that requires delivering high-quality clinical care within the Integrated Healthcare Service for the prison. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute & primary care, long-term conditions management, enhanced assessment and diagnostic intervention services.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based practice in the specialist field of prison healthcare
  3. Participate in managerial and professional clinical supervision programs
  4. Ensure the implementation of effective patient-centered care planning tools
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Post Graduate Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years' experience at Band 5
  • Working knowledge of current issues facing prison/offender healthcare
