Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

Our Swimming Teachers are passionate about helping people learn to swim and become stronger, faster, or more confident in the water. You will work with customers in groups and sometimes on a one-to-one basis to motivate and instruct them during their lessons.

We are looking for a friendly, approachable, and patient individual with the ability to build trust, encourage, and motivate students. You will thrive on supporting students to achieve their potential, drawing on your continual knowledge and experience of industry best practice while applying teaching skills in the most effective way.

• Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
• Work with customers in groups and sometimes on a one-to-one basis to motivate and instruct them during their lessons
• Build trust, encourage, and motivate students to achieve their potential
• Apply teaching skills in the most effective way to support students' learning
• Continually develop your knowledge and experience of industry best practice

• Minimum of UKCC Level 2 qualification in swimming teaching
• Experience of working with customers of all ages and abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for teaching and helping others learn
