Job Description

This role is an opportunity to work as a vital part of our distribution service, carrying out home deliveries with a driver's mate.

The successful candidate will engage in manual handling, perform two-person lifts for the installation of white goods and sofa builds, drive safely, and comply with health and safety standards.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out home deliveries with a driver's mate to our clients' customers.
  • Engaging in high levels of manual handling, performing two-person lifts for the installation of white goods and sofa builds.
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.

In addition, the ideal candidate will hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card, and be physically fit as very heavy lifting is involved.
