We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our dynamic team at a vibrant, eco-friendly primary school in Cheshunt. About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the National Curriculum to a lively class of young learners, with a strong emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, and outdoor learning. This role will involve planning, teaching, and assessing children's progress in line with the school's vision of developing well-rounded, inquisitive, and confident individuals. Key responsibilities include planning and preparing engaging lessons, creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, and working collaboratively with other teaching staff to develop and implement the curriculum.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1. Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching are essential, as well as an understanding of and enthusiasm for the school's eco-friendly approach and outdoor learning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also required.
