Job Description

We are seeking a part-time weekend Accommodation and Venue Manager to join our busy Housekeeping team based in the Cathedral quarter of Chichester.

This role involves ensuring commercial venues are maintained and presented to a high standard. You will provide a warm welcome and excellent customer service to all visitors, while supporting, encouraging, and inspiring a happy Weekend Housekeeping Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain commercial venues to a high standard.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors.
  • Support and inspire a happy Housekeeping Team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the hospitality industry (hotels, pubs, or bed & breakfasts).
  • Ideal experience running events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
  • Amazing can-do attitude.
  • Proficient Microsoft user.
  • Comfortable managing a small staff team with people management experience.

Working Conditions:

The role is part-time (21 hours per week) with 14 hours on Saturday and Sunday each weekend, plus an additional 7 hours during the week. The estimated salary for this role is £14,742 per annum (£24,570 FTE), which includes benefits such as pension contribution, pro rata leave, Employee Assistance Programme, free onsite parking, and flexible working opportunities.
