Job Summary:

Hunter Selection is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our client's team in a leading packaging manufacturing company. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, PPMs, and repairs on high-speed production and packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and PPMs on production and packaging machinery
  • Work on a variety of high-speed production and packaging machinery, conveyors, automation, and controls
  • Participate in a close-knit team that is growing and developing
  • Assist in developing new PPMs and helping with the implementation of new asset care management systems
  • Project work - new machine installs, upgrades, and continuous improvement work

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a maintenance engineering position
  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Hold both electrical and mechanical qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment - FMCG, food, packaging, automation
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, automation systems, and strongly preventative maintenance environments
