Job Title: Director of Quantity Surveying

Egis, a global consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Director of Quantity Surveying to join our London-based team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our quantity surveying services and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of quantity surveyors in delivering high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and implement quantity surveying strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on cost planning, estimation, and post-contract cost management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Hold a RICS-accredited quantity surveying degree (MRICS or FRICS accredited).
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of bespoke construction IT systems.
  • Able to demonstrate a range of strong core QS skills reflected in successful project delivery.
  • Adaptable and willing to work alongside colleagues to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continual learning and development, in line with RICS requirements.
