About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Design and Engineering Manager to join our Airborne Systems team at Thales Optronics and Missile Electronics (OME). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design and development of our airborne systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety.

The primary focus of this role is to lead the project design authority (PDA) function for our airborne systems projects. This involves working closely with our engineering teams and supply chain partners to deliver compliant and safe products that meet customer requirements.

The key responsibilities and tasks of this role include:

  • Ensuring solution compliance with bids or projects;
  • Experience of working with international consortia and electronics, electro-optic, and opto-mechanical assemblies;
  • A strong background in systems engineering to understand and manage system complexities;

The estimated salary for this position is around $125,000 per year, based on industry standards.
