We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Support Worker to join our team at Ambient Support. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing social and emotional support to individuals in their homes and local communities
  • Supporting with personal care, including hygiene needs if required
  • Assisting with shopping and budgeting
  • Building and maintaining relationships with friends and family of our residents
  • Household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Accompanying individuals on outings, such as walks, meals, and activities

Requirements:

  • Empathy, caring, and sensitivity to the needs of others
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy
  • Car driver desirable but not essential
