Job Overview:

Main Responsibilities:
• Engineering document supply and control (SOPs, Risk Assessments)
• Raising Purchase Orders for materials, service, and contracts
• Maintaining the company's quality ISO 9001:2015 management system
• Administration of maintenance software programmes
• Communicating with contractors and suppliers
• Identifying key critical engineering spares and ensuring they are stocked and maintained
• Working with the Engineering Team and Suppliers to ensure cost-effective spare parts are sourced
• Feedback on unusual movement or high consumption of spares
• Completing and processing Purchase Order requisition forms
• Processing and recording Deliveries coming into the engineering department
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to agree and organise work activity
• Working with Engineering to log work sheets accurately and generate reports accordingly
• Logging Engineering Team holidays following management approval
• Informing management of any obstacles to making safe, efficient deliveries on time
• Primary plant control for technical support enquiries
• Point of contact for all technical enquiries requiring an engineering response
• Assisting with the management of engineering projects from start to finish, including tracking progress and coordinating with key stakeholders
• Preparing reports and presentations on engineering projects and data
• Coordinating meetings and events for the engineering department
• Maintaining technical communication
• Providing general administrative support to the engineering department.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a GCSE or level 3 or equivalent qualification in maintenance or technical. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical/engineering support role is highly advantageous. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and data is essential, as is having good analytical skills and being detail-oriented. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, are required. Experience of using CMMS systems is also desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary, as is the ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum.
