Job Description

**Professional Indemnity Solicitor Wanted for Top 50 Law Firm**

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our award-winning Professional Indemnity team at a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. As a Professional Indemnity Solicitor, you will be responsible for defending high-value and complex claims against a wide range of professional service providers and insurance disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend high-value and complex claims against professional service providers and insurance disputes
  • Work with a broad range of clients, including construction professionals, electrical and other specialist building service contractors, technology professionals, care and social welfare practitioners, and accountants
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide expert advice to clients on professional indemnity insurance claims
  • Develop and implement effective defence strategies to minimize risk and maximize client outcomes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with a solid track record dealing with professional indemnity insurance claims (preferably from a defendant perspective)
  • Experience working for an established insurance-focused or defendant firm or team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
