Job Title: Stock Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our Warehouse team at Great Bear. As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our stock within the warehouse. Your excellent investigative skills and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will enable you to accurately manage and control stock levels, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and dispatched loads.
- Manage the problem pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
- Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity and ensure all checks are completed first.
- Hold and Release process.
- Provide stock traceability information as required for reasons such as recalls.
- Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
- Completion of daily and weekly reports.
- Managing multi-client and multi-customer queries.
- Assist Stock Management with investigations.
- Additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, and email queries.
Requirements:
- Previous stock control experience.
- Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
- Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Team player who can also work on own initiative.
- In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns.
- PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
