English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a Secondary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced English Teacher to teach in a well-led, collaborative, and supportive English faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school
  • Organise and maintain a professional and well-structured classroom environment
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • A relevant English-related degree is desirable
