About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for a special school in Martock. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who have a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with their lessons and interactions with peers
  • Use Autism Teaching Techniques such as 'Now and Next' to support student learning
  • Work one-to-one with identified pupils, with occasional group work
  • Support students with accessing the curriculum and adapting lesson activities to their needs
  • Build strong relationships with students and teaching staff to ensure students achieve their potential
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN/Autism/Complex Needs/SEMH is desirable
  • Right to work in the UK (Valid Visa)
  • Relevant DBS/Police checks if necessary
