About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Mears. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs on time and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have a certified core trade and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to adopt a professional manner when interacting with customers, clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking repair and refurbishment works in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring that customer experience is central to all activities by maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Processing activities electronically utilising a hand held device (PDA), including worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works and van stock replenishment.

In addition, the successful candidate will need to:

  • Hold a UK Full driving licence.
  • Be IT literate.
  • Have previous experience in carpentry.
  • Possess an NVQ level 3 qualification.
  • Provide own tools.
Salary and Benefits
