Automotive Technologist

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Vibe Recruit Limited is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technologist to join our client in Manchester. As an Automotive Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet all safety and environmental standards.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, and system checks.
• Carrying out safety checks and inspections to maintain roadworthiness.
• Completing necessary paperwork and ensuring compliance with MOT regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service, explaining any issues or repairs required.

Requirements:

• MOT Tester Certification (required).
• Proven experience as a Mechanic or MOT Tester in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
