Job Role Overview

The role of Architectural & Building Finishes Construction Supervisor is crucial in overseeing the architectural and finishing works on a significant Life Science construction project in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations of architectural and finishes works, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams for timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify work meets design specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, change orders, and daily reports.
  • Address on-site issues and liaise with project management as necessary.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings and training.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: HNC, HND, or equivalent experience in Building and Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Significant background in construction supervision, with a focus on architectural finishes and related trades.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural plans, specifications, and construction methods.
  • Additional Requirements: Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays as per project demands, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug screening.
