About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Residential Services Team as a Bank Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout our care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in promoting and maintaining a supportive living environment for vulnerable older adults, including those with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
  • Carry out domestic tasks, such as cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, making beds, and operating cleaning equipment.
  • Undertake a laundry service for residents and a general laundry service for the care home, including sorting and washing laundry, ironing, and operating laundry equipment.
  • Assist with general dining-room/servery tasks, such as laying/waiting at/clearing tables and simple preparation of food and washing up as required.
  • Keep up-to-date written records and contribute to developing appropriate and professional relationships with residents and carers.
