About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join our progressive school in Newbury, West Berkshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses.
The ideal candidate will also be expected to keep track of children's progress, reporting back to parents as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Monitoring children's progress and reporting back to parents
- Promoting inclusivity and diversity in the classroom
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent
- Experience in teaching Year 5 students and preparing them for SATs exams
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching
- A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
