Job Title: Senior Smart Buildings Engineer

CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled Senior Smart Buildings Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Smart Buildings Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of products, services, and strategies for a growing portfolio of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full process from preparing and managing proposals, project managing and coordinating installations, accurately reporting data to clients, and resolving any technical issues on site.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, in-house teams, and onsite FM teams.
  • Work with statistics, manipulate data, and communicate and present findings accurately to third-party stakeholders.
  • Provide main point of contact between the team, including sub-contractor and on-site facilities teams and/or principal contractor on installation works.
  • Reporting, data export, and data analysis of data captured at individual properties in line with the reporting requirements for each property.
  • Setup optimisation rules and strategies.
  • Ongoing support role to onsite facilities and building management teams.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will come from a controls system background with strong IT, Proptech, and building services engineering knowledge.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to handle long and complex documents.
  • Enjoy working in different environments as you will be both on-site as well as in the office.
  • Flexible to travel across the UK as required.

  • Basic salary of 75,000 - 80,000 plus travel allowance.
