Mathematics Lecturer

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer in Maths to join our team on a variable hours basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for numbers to make a real impact in a rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students at varying levels, including functional skills and GCSE.
• Assessing, supporting, and motivating learners to achieve their full potential.
• Creating and adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of a diverse group of students.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree and/or teaching qualification in Mathematics.
• Previous experience teaching Maths, ideally within further education or adult learning environments.
• A passion for helping students succeed and a strong understanding of different teaching methods.
• The ability to adapt teaching styles and hours to suit student needs, with a willingness to teach a variety of courses and levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and connect with learners of all backgrounds.
